DBcoup Hi all, ive just bought my 1st Astra bertone se2 coupe and eveytime i look at it and drive it i cant stop smiling! especially the mid-range power. Ive just joined and started to use the forum (great btw) and i was wondering if anyone could give me a few pointers to simple mods i need to make as its totally standard i.e air filter e.c.t astra 2.2i 16v bertone se2 (51 plate) early 2002 cheers in advance!!
Gazza hi and welcome to the site the 1st 3 mods i would do is remove the air filter and replace with a performance pannel filter remove the tubes in the air box fit a vectra c pipe oh and the 4th remove the precat if you have one 😃
Andy Hi mate and welcome to the site. By the vec pipe Gaz is on about the air pipe that goes from the air box to the throttle body. Its less restrictive so helps the air flow a bit better. Also a good stainless steel cat back exhaust will help. with the mods that Gaz mentioned and a s/s exhaust it should see you around the 160bhp mark.
