vocky what does your engine do at cold start up ? does it rev to 2k rpm and then settle or what ? and have you had an ecu update ?
JohnnyN From cold straight out the garage mine revs at 1500rpm and then settles to about 1000rmp after about 20 seconds then it drops to normal operating revs. So I suppose this is a yes. what..

vocky so it sounds like it's just the ecu adjusting the tickover I always thought it was, but weren't sure as I've never had the vx ecu upgrade map - due to intending to get a remap
vocky I would think it has to, the ecu measures the throttle position against the engine revs, then adjusts the throttle to give the correct tickover speed
Daz Mine was ok intil i swapped Tb's over....with the ported one mine goe's up to bout 2500rpm then comes bk down...
