The GSI bumper is a little deeper than the standard and personally think it is better looking. I had one fitted to my previous Astra SRI after a Volvo lost control on ice and rammed into my front wheel.

The wire fence by luck held the car from going down a steep drop and would probably have landed on its roof! The Volvo was written off and although I wanted mine writing off as I had GAP insurence on it they would not. They spent thick end of £5000 repairing it and then it wasn't right and required returning several times. New wheel bearing then new breaks as they failed to replace bent disk. Trim fell off and had to be refitted. In the end I got fed up and traded it for current Astra Coupe. Anyways - you can see the Irmsher bumper fitted to my old car.
