li-ion16 Hi, as above, does anyone know if the cat exhaust section would fit the 2.2 mani with the turbo down pipe removed? Or would some extra work be needed? From photos it looks similar.
corsaZ22se doubt it will fit as the z20let has its exhaust from front of engine where as our decent engines have the exhaust from the rear. sure it could be made to fit with some cutting and weld though
li-ion16 Ok, good to know. Spoke to Courtenay Sport and said they said the same thing and advised to get a down pipe made up. After some more searching found this: https://z22se.co.uk/threads/astra-g-2-5-front-pipe-and-sports-cat.6173/ Will have to find a local exhaust place and get a quote.
corsaZ22se I made my own for a vectra b then chopped it to fit the Corsa. first is a 2.5" manifold back, second is 3" to the cat and 2.5" after cat.
li-ion16 Think I need to learn how to weld, especially with having a stick welder in the garage that I've never used :facepalm:
