HELP! Cold start noise

No I did the chains myself lol I Just had questions about the tensioner that evocarlos helped with and i removed it after i finished the job because i want 100 percent certain it was active, and it was! Being a Zafira there wasn't much room so it was harder to put back with stuff in the way that i took off to do chain

Hi bud, im down the road in leeds if you want me to have a listen to it? i can get over saturday morning if any good to ya.
you are right as you say, on cold everything is dry and free of oil so will need a couple of seconds on start up to get oil around chains, cams etc.
i tend not to touch the throttle pedal for at least 5 seconds after any start up to to get everything lubed up.

Mine has a funny noise on cold starts most of the time. Carl/ evocarlos had a listen the other day maybe the aux belt tensioner. Try taking the belt off and starting it (hold engine on a jack) see if it does it then. At let at u can cross that off the list of parts
