idle problem, no eml.

Hello All,

I am facing idle problem after engine overhaul.

We have already replaced coil, spark plugs twice and broken MAP sensor.

also checked all hoses for any air leaks.

posting engine live data captured trough op-com software. any help would really appreciated .

1) Ignition Status shifting all the time on/off ?!?!?
2) Intake Air Temperature: 43C, do u live in Africa?
3) your engine got MAF sensor?
4) EGR Position Feedback voltage seems too low. Valve is ok?
Did you reset the ecu?
p.s. that op-com looks weird, used some strange old op-com version?

Hello John,

Yes, there is some CANBUS issues which make that ignition keep flipping between on/off.

LOL!! 43C was due to engine compartment getting very hot and not because of africa. I could check that one more without warming up the engine. I live in India.

Yes, It has MAF sensor and MAP sensor.

I will check the EGR. ECU was reprogrammed after it dropped its code.

I can see that B1 Short Term Fuel Trim (Bank 1) between 0 and -5. does that give any clue?

First, why those data is split in several files?
What's the Ignition status to do with CANBUS?
Something wrong with lambdas, as you can see, sometimes it shows 0 mv at B1S1 O2 Sensor (Bank 1 Sensor 1) and B1S1 O2 Sensor (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
Why does it shows Desired Engine Idle Speed 850rpm? z22se Idle speed is 680-780rpm.
Calculated Throttle Position is to high 11%, should be 1%. 11% could be only when starting the engine.

I will try to do one more capture of this data in one single file.
I am not sure why the desired idle speed is 850.

could this be a case of wrong timing chain setup?
