problems after chain fix

hey guys 🙂
i was so unlucky my new baught vectra c z22se jumped the chain before i got to replace it.
well it damage all intake valves.
but i found a complete dissasembled z22se engine extremely cheap witch i took the cylinder head from and put on my engine before install i had it pressure tested and it was all fine.
so after i assembled it all with new chain kits oil and so on it started right away BUT here comes my proglem.
in idle it jumps from going 3 to 4 cylinders constantly sometimes it runs on 4 cylinders for 1 min and jump back to 3 and so on.BUT from 1100 rpm and up it ALWAYS run on all 4 cylinders its under under/idle.
it drives like crap though its rough jumpy and lacking lots of power.
it sometimes comes with fault codes
p0103 mass or volume air flow circuit high input.
p0300 random/multiple cylinder misfire detected.
those fault wasent there before the chain jumped.
i have done the following.
compression test 14 bars witch i belive is around 200 psi on all 4 cylinders.
checked ALL wiring to ALL sensors and such they are all good.
there is spark on all 4 cylinders. (coil pack is 4 month old.)
cleaned air flow sensor.
took out the injectors made a test they spray fine.and i cleaned them while out.
i am getting to the point where i only se 1 option witch is buying new sensor one by one and that i cant affort sadly.
i really hope you have any suggestions or ideas to what i can try to fix it 😃

could be the crank is one tooth out, really easy to check.

Remove spark plug 1 or 4, use a very long screwdriver and find top dead centre, remove the cam cover and check that the cams on either 1 or 4 are at 10 O clock and 2 O clock (depending upon where the engine is in the four stroke cycle)

the triangle and diamond shapes in the cam sprockets should be the at same position as these

yes im pretty sure they sit correct (will check anywayjust to be sure) i just put the cam sprocket marks on the chain marks also on the button sprocket with guidence from original guide and youtube guys :d
if the chain marks and sprocket marks are correct then if im correct it cant be sitting wrong can it ?

Okay i have been checking the chain.
The crankshaft is on marks cylinder 4 in compressions top cylinder 1 on way to intake
And can sprockets seem to be correct

next thing to try is another coilpack, make sure you borrow a genuine part as aftermarket versions have been known to cause issues

ye ive been looking for one the past 3 days but i cant seem to find one i can borrow and the local scrap yard 150 GBP for and opel takes 287 GBP and it sucks im broke it chrismas haha 😃

any good ideas to test it without an osciliscope witch i sadly dont have 🙁 i know how to use one though)

Will a local scrapyard not let u test with one of there coilpacks to eliminate or confirm before u buy ??

Sadly no they are Conserned there is something in my car witch can brake it Will thats what they told me

the really stupid fail is found.
the 2 springs in the coil pack witch connect the coil and spark plug didnt have proper connection.
now i have a new problem 😃
the car shakes (the entire car) when i reach 30 km/h 18 Mph i suspect the balance chain since i only have 2 marks on the chain im not really sure if it is fittet 100% correct.
the upper left one might sit wrong
am i so lucky some of u in here have a detailed picture of the balance chain i can use as comparrison so get it fittet correctly ?

Thanks a Million now i can se how the marks should be fittet hopefully ill get it right this time 🙂
any good trick to get the belt wheel off the crank without the proper tools i only have the standard home garage tools and not bolt long enough and all the shops with have them are closed until after new years.
last time i took it off i damage it and had to get a new one 😃

21mm socket and a long handle, plus wedge a screwdriver in the pulley spokes to stop it turning. Sometimes putting the car in gear works as well, but not always.

Okay i have the bolt off my biggest problem is to get it off the Axel properly without doing damage

I didnt do much work yesterday but today im at work and plan to make a tool to pull the wheel off so i can get the chain correct

It would be prudent to renew the crankshaft oil seal that goes in the oil pump/timing cover - they don't like being disturbed. 🙂

i will change the seal when im a 100% sure the car runs good 😃
i have now set the chain as in the picture you sent witch didnt fix my problem.
when it stands in idle the engine runs fine stand still if i rev it up it stays fine
as soon as i start driving and it shakes weird if i drive 30km/h steady it only comes when accelerating + it accelerates bad it is very jumpy but the engine stil sounds fine and stays still any ideas 😃

EDIT.
i have now been driving a bit more
now when it stands in idle it doesent stand fine anymore it frequently makes an ignition fail like it doesen't ignite on 1 cylinder but it happens random there is no pattern to it as far as i know se.
i have come to the conclusion that when im driving and it shakes is because it doesenøt ignite the 1 cylinder it just happens so fast that i cant hear it.
i am 99,9% sure the 2 chains is sitting correct BUT what would the symtoms be for the timing chain if it was just 1-2 tooth off ?
and so if the balance chain is just 1-2 tooth off what would the symptoms be ?
there is no error codes either.

a strange thing is when it stands in idle and it cut out 1 cylinder there comes a nocking sound witch dissapears when i press the clutch down. The engine still cut out though but i was wondering if the strange chaking could be in the gearbox ?
any ideas i will take anything getting a bit desperate the car has been standing in the garage for 1 month now 🙁

I had a vec c z18xe that used t knock when clutch was dipped , it turned out to b the flywheel hitting the block when clutch peddle was deppressed . We also had a drip of oil when it started doing this from the front crankshaft oil seal as the whole crank moved .
