Corsa Comfort Z18XE

I got given a corsa comfort as payment for doing the brakes on a kia cee'd and my daily runaround is a vectra b estate with a Z18XE basicly am just needing advice on wiring on what to do with the imobilizer on the vectra when the engine gets swaped over on to the free corsa,
Apparently I need the z18xe interior wiring loom from the corsa sri but can I not just modify the standard z12xe interior loom.
And can I use the driveshafts from the vectra do they have the same wheel base ?

I know everyone says its not worth it but in my case I have all the bits to do it, All I really need is the left hand engine mount from a corsa sri and make a lower front mount on the corsa sub frame and more or less done.

I know about swapping brakes over as am gonna do a 5 stud swap from my vectra when its out of mot.

what type of throttle pedal does the Vectra have? fly-by-wire or cable?
the drive shafts will both be to long and you will need corsa 1.8 shafts.
which gearbox does the Vectra have? cable shift or rod? the Vectra gearbox is not a straight fit to a corsa due to the mount points in different places, easier to get a corsa c or astra g box.
the 5 stud hubs will not fit the standard corsa knuckles without machining or getting 1.7cdti knuckle. and the rears will need to be from a corsa c 1.7cdti drum brake ( you need the whole rear beam)
the Vectra's calliper carriers will not fit the corsa's knucles you need meriva 280mm carriers and disc's which can be found in 4 stud fitment. or you can use meriva vxr carriers and 308 disc'c drilled to 4 stud with custom made spigot rings to centre the disc's.
you do not need any new looms, the standard corsa loom will work with the correct wiring swaps to the ecu plug.
also is the Vectra the small block 1.8 or large block as they are different mounts to fit a corsa c. standard corsa c is small block most Vectra's were large block (same as a x20xev/z20let)
you will also need a new radiator as the 1.2 has in and out at the same end where as the z18xe's are at opposite ends.
then you get to the harder parts, the Vectra will most likely have a loop type fuel system with the fpr on the engine and the corsa's have the the fpr in the tank and no return from the engine.
plus why would you want to as the insurance will be a killer compaired to just getting a 1.8 corsa c? engine swaps push prices up a lot. and a standard corsa c 1.8 sri can be found for as little as £800 in good order or tidy ones around £1200. so it would be cheaper to sell both the cars you have and buy a 1.8 corsa with the money.
I have done a few engine swaps and unless you are fitting a larger or total different engine to what the cars come with from factory its a lot of effort and money for no returns.
find a z22se and fit that to the corsa 😉

most people fit the z20let as its easy.
mines the only z22se corsa c, but about to build a second one. just need the ecu set for it.
did lots of research in building my corsa c and helped do some others and different cars over the years.
