I don't like them also lol. I work for an agency at the moment. But come this week or next we should be taken on contract full time, even though I am working at this place full time hours every week anyway. 🙂

im doing 3 days 13hour shifts 6am to 7pm long day but 4 days of realy good and the days of are thursday friday sat and sunday so nice long weekend which means its ood if i want to go away for the weekend or take the kids somwhere when the schools arent on holiday 😃

Although it gives me chance to get my hosting company off the ground full time. 😃

Give the missus her due, she is working in a (cushy) job to pay for the server while i work on it and does not give me any grief.

I've set up a couple of servers at work for the internal intranet. Using Fedora Core 4, Apache etc. Was a really good learning experience. I just wish the hosting company we use would sort themselves out, they've been really crap this week with script kiddies running loads of stuff, which is hammering the server. We had the server load at 80% the other night, where it should normally be at 1 or 2!

Never had the pleasure of fedora, using centos on my server.

I know what you mean with script kiddies, had loads of problems when i did free hosting but all that went when i went paid.

thats the thing, we are paying, and it's not exactly the cheapest option we are on. I've had numerous tickets open with them, and each time it's another account which is running a pearl script etc, which is hammering the server.

well my second day on today only tomorow to work then of for 4 but boy am i bored its been realy quiet this week at work figures not performing as good as should be so got 16 guys doing nought all day 😃

im the opisite was meant to be working yesterday and today,but they got me in the office and asked if i would work the rest of the week,all at time and half so i said yes 😃
