volume wise i've got the output from computer set to about 25% and thats just about right to listen with in the mornings 🙂

one of the speakers rubber speaker edges had a crack in it so was crackling a bit. swapped the whole tower of to another one. I've had one pair here for a year but one isn't powering up right so I'll now send the 2 damaged ones away for repair and reconditioning.

going to upgrade the sound card in my computer.
Need something with optical in put and a decent digital to analogue converter.
Any suggestions?

I really like Soundblaster stuff. I bought a 7.1 card from @[deleted] years ago, and it was superb. I've currently got a USB card I use to record from analogue with, and that has optical in/out and it was cheap, but still produces good results.

I haven't had much to do with sound cards in years and years. Just been using onboard sound cards for the last decade. Good to see people still like soundblaster.
I just want something that can take input from ps3 and play it out through the speakers but I want decent quality with it.

I had this weekend off running, as we went away. Really wanted to take the running gear, as I could have gone for a couple of coastal runs, but the wife said I should have a few days off. Been out and done 10KM this evening in my break.

Its good to have a few days off. Unfortunately I took nearly a month off. Just getting back into a routine again of 3 on 1 off. Will only be doing it for 2 weeks then I'm off on the rally for 2 weeks sitting on my arse eating shit food. Gonna have to go hard when I get back from it.

Yeah, I do feel good for the break. I only ran twice last week in total. Going to try and push it this week. I want to do 10KM each night I'm working (40KM), and then a long run at the weekend, so try and get as close to 60KM for the week as possible.

Put 150km on the shitbox this evening. Got a few small things to sort out but looking good at this stage.
