tofferson My friend has a Astra h 1.7 td was traveling to work right indicator would not cancel then all hell broke loose clock stopped working then rolled to a holt, The car now does nothing, no locking no horn won't turn over, when you switch ignition on the car with spanner flashers I think this is immobiliser. Plugged opcom in and it reads vehicular data like make and vin but won't access ecu it say ingnition maybe off or ecu maybe busy carnt understand what's going on. @[deleted] @[deleted] can anyone help cheers Tried battery that's fine He did have a key from another Astra key on his bunch whilst driving.
Dave_Gilbert sounds like cim to me mate, thats the big block behind the steering wheel with the indicator storks in, thats an immobilizer and clock ecu and controls loads of stuff. im on astra mk5 owners al ask see if they know owt
