gm or bilstein strut bushes/bearings ?

Hey guys local tyre place has recommended i get new strut bushes/bearing should i go gm or bilstein. I quite like the feel of the stock suspension does bilstein improve the ride or handling over stock gm?

I believe the Bilsteins will give firmer handling compared to the original GM setup. 🙂
It obviously depends what you prefer.

Firmer handling is fine as long as it doesnt come at the expense of ride. I suppose what i what to know is do i get improved ride AND handling with bilstein. Or do i get a trade off between one or the other. What im chasing is improved ride AND handling. If its just an improvement in one at the expense of another id rather stay stock
