Marty64 Hi ! For my SC Stage 4, i don't have a B207 bottom block. Just the cylinder head is from b207. I seen that b207/z20let engines have piston oil jets/squirters. Are they necessary for my stage level ? ZZP sell oil squiters gen2 : Is it possible to add them on my Z22SE block ? Is there a bolt to undo on the block for the oil inlet ? How to proceed for the oil hoses. Or better way is to buy a b207 bottom block ? Don't really want to buy b207 block cause my z22se cylinders are bored yet with gaps ring done... TY.
Dave_Gilbert Z20net/b207 block would be best not sure u can add the squirters to a z22se probably can but id say u would have to drill n tap the block etc but i might be wrong
Marty64 Yes Dave Gilbert, i have to drill the block: not a problem : But after putting them, i would like to know how it works to route oil to the squiters. Do you know how it work on a b207/z20net to inlet oil in squirters ? And is it really necessary or i could run the engine without squirters at this stage ?
vocky you do not really need oil squirters, they are just an added bonus if you use the B207 block. They can be fitted to the z22se block, but it's probably easier to just get a B207 block
