Couple of years ago we had 4 dogs. In the space of a few months, the 2 old American Bulldogs had to be pts.
4 dogs was always too many but we really enjoyed 3 but we didn't rush, thinking that sooner or later the right dog would come along and we'd get there.
Last week we got a message from a breeder Kirsty (my SO) knows about a S.African Boerboel that was in need of a new home as her owner was very unwell and going to be in and out of hospital a lot, with a very uncertain prognosis.
So on Saturday, we took the near 400 mile round trip from Suffolk to W.Yorks to see if this was the right dog for us.
Needless to say, she loved us and we were smitten.
So we're back to 3..
From left to right, 2 lurchers Lily and Sam, and then new girl Dolly, 3 years old and fitting in exceptionally well.
