emmyf Thought my baby had timing/balance chain prob but told today by engine rebuilder bottom end gone. I can't afford recon so I am gutted but may be breaking her or scrapping her but either way unless i can get a new z22se engine she is off the road all this just as I'm trying to get my divorce sorted after 16 yrs with a total wife beatin scumbag get on my feet again only for some c**t to put a 50ft wall in front of me. IDI_AMIN You should get a 2nd opinion to be sure and ask what he means by bottom end gone It could still be fixable by the right person depending whats wrong
vocky when the big ends are starved of engine oil it kills the crank, so crank and bearings are required, which is an engine out of the car job 🙁
emmyf See I'm not sure what's going on it all started after her service but she had 5L of oil but I am wondering why the hall she is still running just noisy and intermittent dont do it straight away in start up seems to be taking loads longer for her to reach temp thou oh I don't feckin have a clue Roll on September when I start my mechanics course lol, I have no warning lights on no eml, tried pedal test dont work and paperclip neither as no 6th pin I think it was just ordered a aural scanner, I'm gutted and yeah she's tidy very tidy
