Right chaps, ive managed to get a Vectra b sri150 as it has a 88k engine fitted with history, I have had a look around it and it has a egr valve and a few other bits my zaf doesn't have, Is it just a case of swapping over the wiring loom and blanking the egr valve off etc? Im taking engine out the top on the zaf as I prefer that way when doing engines but after advice if any on doing so. All help appreciated. Will be taking the engine out the vec next sat as I need the shell picked up from scrapman asap. Also are the gearboxes the same?

Power steering is ran from the cam on a vectra b. Not sure if its like that on zafiras.

Its not in the astra g or vectra c.

dropping the engine out the b i would pull it out the bottom on the subframe and lift the shell above that but easy enough out the top aswell im told.

Mines coming out my c soon n thats going out the top

gear boxes have different ratio's and mount point so not the same. Vectra p/s pump can be removed/blanked with parts from the zaf, egr can be blanked but you will need to swap cheater for egr as well. plus keep the ecu from the zaf. Vectra b will not work on zaf with out new software.
easy to drop out the bottom. very tight fit in the b.
