Howdy,
I have a slack timing chain, wierd thing is it was tight about 100 miles ago as I have an on-going problem with the rocker cover gasket so it has been off a few times. There's no rattle noises to suggest it is slack, it runs very smooth, but lacking a bit of power low down.
I've tried searching, but the things I find I can't get my head around. Is there a way to tighten the chain back up or is it time to replace the chain itself?
