anyone help im getting a lot of wheel judder from the passanger side wheel its not just at a certian speed it seems to happen when reaching 40mph and all the way up to 100mph before it goes away ive had the wheels balanced and there fine but its quite annoying not sure if the strut is fecked or maybe the wheel bearing is away already replaced the rear 🙁

I've had that happen on 2 of my cars in the past. It feels exactly like you are saying.

i know that breaks are needing done as on the trip to bromsgrove they were at 90% done on the pads :oops: and the pedal does travel a fair bit till the make contact but are stil quite sharp for stopping

It could be possible that the pads are so worn that they themselves have warped which is why the braking is so juddery and with the excessive heat build up the heat between the 2 faces would be emmense. In short, the heat cannot be absorbed by the pad material if its not there.

i took the wheel of today and there is a tiny tiny tiny sign of a brake pad :oops:

quick question guys are the rear calipers the same to remove as the front ones just going to change discs and pads all round

That would help a bit! You putting OE discs and pads on, or going for some better ones?

i really want the 308mm discs but they wont fit behind the 16s or do they if anyone knows if not itl be uprated stuff prob green stuff pads and discs

The minimum size alloys you'll need for the 308's in 17", there just isn't room behing the 16s

I'm pretty sure when I spoke to Steve at LMF about the 308mm upgrade he mentioned that I would have to have at least 17" wheels.

there was a guy on astra-sport who had the discs on with 16s but they were the vectra sri version notsure.gif

I think the discs themselves fit behind the wheels, but it's down to the calipers which catch on the spokes of the alloys
