Hello mate. I would suggest losses with the cone. They do sound nice under hard acceleration but i'd be suprised if a heat shield would really make much difference. The 2.2 seems to run extremely hot under the bonnet due to being an aluminium engine. You will need a very good cold air feed. I'm sure the 57i kit is around £97 for the 2.2 and thats a lot of mulla to spurt out for a nice growl.
Here's the latest Rolling Road result from one of my mates over on VxlSCC. He's driving a 2.5 V6 Vectra SRi with a few mods. The interesting thing is the back to back test of cone filter over panel filter.
195 bhp and 205 lbs/ft with cone filter...220.9 bhp and 221 lbs/ft with panel filter. drool.gif
