Oil level sensor leakage

Looks like I got me a leaky oil level sensor, it's highlighted on the video Vx sent me following their (free) Vehicle Health Check if anyone wants to see some oily goodness :p
No?? Oh alright then..

Anyway, not had a leaky sensor on the sump before so should I just see if nipping it up will sort it or is there a sizeable risk of it all going Pete Tong and the contents of said sup ending up on the floor?
If so, it's a job for the next oil change I guess.. the thing seems to work ok but if it's leaking would it be better if I replaced it?

its held in the sump by a clip on the inside you would have to drop the sump and replace the gasket

or do you mean the oil pressure switch ?

They said sensor, I've not had a look to be honest.
It faces the front and looks like this (pic grabbed from the vid, if that's not patently obvious :confused: )
