Does the Z22SE oil filler cap

Still waiting for dye... it should be here this week, I'll be having a bash soon as I can once it is..
Updates will follow (even if it's a dodgy, streaky, horrible result)..

I brought a mobil 1 cap for about £15 it was if you look around there not to expensive

I did look around.. couldn't find one that, when postage was included, wasn't silly money. Be kinda cool to have it looking factory-ish too.

Alrighty then..

Pics ain't great but 3 items, 1 bottle of Rit black liquid dye. I didn't bother dismantling the oil cap, just wrapped some wire around the 'neck' and suspended it so the appropriate parts were just below the water surface..

Bring a pan of water to just below a simmer, add some dye, add the parts, wait an hour..

2 out of 3 ain't bad

Cheers.. the washer bottle cap was a total bust but the other 2 parts I'm chuffed to buggery with.. little things eh?

Now I want a black dipstick handle :banghead:

Dunno how well it'd work with a used cap... but.. I might be dyeing something else. So if you like, and you can score a new cap (or I will try and you can pay me for it). it shouldn't be an issue to add it to the pot.
