ap20 had the battery die while driving home it showed only 7.7v so got a new one now the ecu light flashes and it wont start, the car is a vauxhall vectra B 2.2
IDI_AMIN Ecu light? You have the management light or the car with a spanner light Possibly the car has immobilised
IDI_AMIN It's hard to say for sure You may need to get some diagnostic equipment on the car to know for certain Could be a faulty alternator
Dave_Gilbert Car with a spanner is a electrical fault i believe could have chucked the immobiliser on or as said alternator fault. But u cant test the alternator without the engine running (i dont know of a way anyway)
