evocarlos ive never used a 2 bucket wash 🙂 damn buckets with a grit guard are £16 one was enuff 🙂 i put the snow on let sit for 5mins then jet wash the dirt off apply the left over snow to the clean car with a clean bucket of water and a clean lambs wool mit put hyper was soap on the mit then wipe the car down the bucket is used for getting the dirt off the mit when you do the lower sections then its just a case of rince with a hose and dry with a huge microfiber shammie 🙂
identiti66 Must work well, your car looks sparkly clean.. I should probably make a list. Another list. Jesus.......
evocarlos like i said earlier thats the problem with car cleaning now there 500 products for each of the 6000 different cleaning steps 🙂 i choose to use products i bought tryed and tested 🙂 thats what i like about jons stuff from evolution car care he had them made to his specs and they all do there job his car is spot less to lol
identiti66 I'll scour his site old chap.. for sure.. Last car I washed 'properly' was in 2003, in preparation for Billing, and consisted of wash, rinse, polish. But I did take all the wheels off and do them individually too... 😃
Sjdickso SSnow foam lances and a jetwash are fantastic and like carl now just have one grit guard, the jetwasha SSnow prewash elimates a heck of allot of dirt and direct contact to the paintwork which then causes the paintwork defects. All depends on how much you want to spend and what hardware you already have. As for some stuff like buckets I just get 99p ones from B&Q 🙂
identiti66 I already have a small Karscher pressure washer. Not used it yet but it's alleged to work as intended (mother gave it to us). Really need to sort an outside tap, it's been on the to-do list for 4 years now. Going to B&Q for buckets.. could've sworn I paid more for them last time but just checked stock at our local.. orange buckets in stock and a pound a pop
