Hareng  In simple terms though not accurate, the engine oil and gases expel out of rocker box and feeds down the pipe which goes into the inlet pipe. Wheres the oil gonna go?

Matt guys..is it me does anyone else know that the small vacum pipe doesnt need to go into the intake pipe. theres another little trick which completely wipes out poor idling......
Matt well this guy i know who works for GM and mods these engines for drag showed me an extra port on my engine block.. surely you guys know of this...
Matt if u want i will take pics. since ive done this my engine idles spot on. well it did till flexi startin blowin....
Matt This is the cap i took off the extra port on the side of the engine which fits nicely on the intake pipe. and then the pipe goes into the engine block. Surely all Z22se owners know this......

Matt guys. sorry but ive noticed something, i am thinkin of doing this mod but wouldnt it be better to just redirect the vacum pipe to the side of the engine instead of putting back on the intake pipe. after all its only suckin in hot air going back to the injectors..? or am i missing something. my vacum pipe doesnt go to my intake.....
JohnnyN You are correct. I modified this at a later date to attach the vacume pipe to the spare take off on the inlet manifold. I sealed in a small grommet where the pipe used to enter the intake. ;-)
JohnnyN Here's the intake pipe with a grommet, ......and here's where you attach the FPR pipe to the intake manifold. ;-)
George106 Hi guys, just quick question, want to do this mod as well, already ordered induction pipe and now want to buy some catch tank as well. I found http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=170293396494. Also there was mentioned I need filter as well but without clue where should I connect it. I found http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0023144677 on ebay again. Give me a push right direction please. Thanks George
JohnnyN You need to get the breather filter that fits the 9mm pipe coming out of the top of the catch tank. Basically, the cam cover breather pipe will connect to the inlet pipe on the catch tank and the breather filter will fit on the outlet pipe of the catch tank. That's it!! ;-)
