Insurance policy cancelled.

Basically l have been ringing my insurer (easyinsure.co.uk) for 3 days to tell them that l have lowered my vehicle by 10mm . Every time you ring them they never answer the phone and you are put on hold so l rang they sister company yesterday and the advisor said that she will get them to call me back. So this morning they rang me and l went through the details to the changes that l had made to my car. So the girl goes and inquires about lowered suspension. And the answer is sorry we are going have to cancelled your policy as we don't insure modify cars. I could see if you where going to slam it but 1 cm absolute bandits.

Not sure I'd have said owt for the sake of 10mm... new springs can settle that much.

old saggy springs have probably settled even more !

I once fitted some cheap pattern rear springs to a corsa C, it raised the back end 50mm :eek:

So a set of 30mm lowered springs had to be fitted and it still raised the overall ride height from the knackered old standard springs :confused:
