Vec B minor rust to sort

All things considered, it's pretty solid but I need these 3 bits sorted..

And 2 patches on the tailgate

What I wanted to do was treat it this year with Fertan then, next Spring, do the repair/repaint..

Never done bodywork before, anyone fancy chiming in with some advice?

remove loose rust apply fertan
let dry and wipe off black dust
apply a primer and a sealant to make it water proof (primer is porous unless its 2k)

heres one I did 9 months ago with fertan it has a layer of waxoil on top till I can be bothered to finish it 🙂

This is good.. thanks Carl.. better get myself a wire brush and some fertan/primer/sealant.

Got a small amount of welding to get done on a chassis rail next year too, bit of luck will be able to get someone to waxoil it all then too...
