Right not sound Dumb , but how does the aux belt pully thing release to allow me to remove the belt ,.
I mean I used to use 15mm spanner pull the nut around letting you slip the belt off ....on the old 1.8 engines ,
But first thing is Which way , looking in the Haynes book ,don't list much for the 22 ...
Do you work from above stripping all the stuff out the way as well as the engine bracket ,(up on jack ) ?
Or from under side ..?
Man its tight in this bay ... have a sound so while I was at it was going to run the car with out a belt to see if its the Alternator , or the pully ..? as I need a new belt starting to show splitting ...
