F##CKING HEAD GASKET HAS FAILED

I am needing some advice here
The holes for the injectors are a little different

The head for vec b

The head for the vec c

A kind of plastic grommet on the vec c
Would it cause any problems fitting the injectors off the vec b into this replacement head or would I need to swap injectors also?

just take the injector insulators out
i had to fit them on the supercharger build to move the fuel rail up and out

if you leave them in you would need to fit the spacer blocks to the fuel rail

Will they just pull out easy with a pair of pliers then?

And does that mean the injectrors for vec b and vec c are different lenghts?

not easy no
there the same size injector just different heights

Any advice how they will come out i'm thinking a potential headache awaits. Would like to get the head together during the week

Very nice but that's another 30 quid as I don't have one

I think it would be a lot less hassle to fit the spacer blocks any ideas where I can get them or do you need to make them yourself

you can get them off the fuel rail of most vectra c's

a pair of pliers will remove those plastic spacers, spray some wd40 down the sides first.

i would of said pliers but i wanted to reuse them after 🙂
