Daz86 Bean under the Astra just now to fix A loose heat sheald and found this 🙁 is it ok as it doesn't look as it is leaking. I now want to change gear box oil and try fill that crack The oil is from a old rocker leak
Dave_Gilbert Oh dear. If its accessible get it welded up while its on the car(remove the oil first) im sure someone could do it.
Daz86 I take it its in a bad place then Dave Does this mean shel be low on gear oil? I'm Gona txt sum one now over the weld its right next to the front lower mount on the gear box
evocarlos looks like its just the bell housing where the starter is the question is why has it cracked

Daz86 I'm glad you commented Carl as you amunskst others no your stuff regarding the 22 She's bean in a bump at sum point that mount has bean welded up previously . From what I can gather from the DVLA mot check she was off the road for a year in 2010 so I think the bump was then . Also if it's just the bell housing it will be ok won't it
evocarlos i guess if its been there since 2010 i doubt it will go any further mark the end of the crack and check it periodically
