Berto Non-metallic PCV valves don't last long, better to replace them every 3 years at most (bonus PITA when they're buried inside the intake manifold). Resist the temptation of blanking and fit a new one. It also works as a check valve / one-way valve, so you can boost at leisure without losing the benefits from crankcase vacuum while off boost at part throttle.
figo126 fitted timing and balance chains , genuine gm ones of course , going to get some stainless braided fuel pipes made up tomorrow , tried bending original ones and messed up ? , need to get them out of the way so braided are going in, only clutch and she can go back in????

figo126 I picked a b207 up off ebay last month for £100 ,worth it to have a look every week for these bargains, and were only 20 minutes away,,,,
figo126 got 4 days off work time to get engine back into car, went in better than I thought it would, having the turbo on ,bought some braided fuel pipes ,, time to start making intercooler pipes and get the water pipes on,,,,,,,,,,,

figo126 started fitting the new silicone hoses , had a problem the saab thermostat housing has 4 outlets because of the oil cooler, but doesn't fit with the astra f23 gearbox ,after a few hours i think ive sorted it ,,,,, drive shafts in next ,, then 4 days at work then I'm off till new year ,,,,,, party,,,,

figo126 having problems trying to find something to upgrade the drive shafts , got z22yh f23 equal length drive shaft , don't fit , the mount is where the oil return is from the turbo ??? got a z20net drive shaft wont fit the gear box because its from a f40, any ideas ??????????
