cam chain damage

removed timing chain engine casing, found a snapped bolt ? thought that's it engine knackered ,anyway managed to remove it with a centre pop chisel ,,,,,, found 2 bolts in the casing been rubbing for quite a while? removed sump removed a load of plastic from oil pick up pipe give it a jolly good clean before replacing, crank key way bent and worn needs replacing ,

yes i would would recommend changing the knackered balancer chain sprocket tho as the worn edge tends to pick up on the chainrings and make noise
the bolt hole thats damage just make sure its flat so the boss on the bolt goes flat to the original surface
the key will only be bent from a miss fitting of the crank pulley and the use of an impact gun with in not in the right place easy to replace once to file/grind it down enough
to get the chain sprokets off

should I Loctite any of the bolts,,,,,,,,

the chain guide ones should have stud lock on already
the normal 6mm pins i put a blob of medium strength stud lock on just to be 100% with them there only 10nm (dry)
