High idle between gear change

Got the Astra on the road today 🙂 . But when I change gear the idle stays quite high the TB is clean and the EGR is blanked has any one fixed this problem before

Have u had a dead battery or battery off?

Could be relearning throttle positions

Yer Im sure the battery has bean disconnected while it was parked up before I got here. didn't think about that

Or get some readings on op-com.

it could ve caused by alot of things.

I'll try get sum reading tomorrow on the way to work . I think it could be a air leak because the heads bean dun just before Christmas and I was told that no seals/gaskets apart from the head where changed ..I have sprayed brake cleaner round the inlet mani but couldn't get it all the way round so was quite pointless lol

Do you think this could be CTS related as I have similar symptoms to a faild one

Changed the cts yesterday at a grand total of £6 lol . She idles smoother .but hot start problem still there and the rpm stays high when I put my foot on the clutch for a cupple second

Well sill got high idle betwean gear change it still lingers at where it was when I changed gear for a second (doesn't drop instantly).

Also when I put it in neutral and coast to a stop the rpm stays at 1000rpm until the car stops

What kind of file does the opcom need to be to upload on here

may be your clutch pedal switch needs adjusting? ecu not seeing that pedal is down?

Would that be the same switch that cuts out the cruse control when active

not sure? I know brake switch cuts cruise control.

So does the clutch pedal I'll have a look over the weekend

report back as this fault has come up before but never been answered who to fix it.

Tried the switch yesterday but no change reset the ecu lastnight going to take here out for a spin later on c if that helps her
