Has anyone else heard that ac delco are no more?

I went to my local motor shop today to get my normal ac delco oil and ac delco oil filter and he said they don't trade anymore and he can't get the bits anymore..

He now uses comma which apparently is exactly the same oil..
I brought some comma and it looks smells and sounds fine in the engine however I wasn't happy so nice ordered 4 5ltr tubs of gm oil from eBay at £15 a tub just incase it becomes hard to get it will keep me going for 12k miles lol

I'm positive thats the brand name for the supercharger oil also? Not surprise your changing the oil it must've been oooo 6 weeks or so since last change 😉

Ac delco are basically gm all the parts and oils etc are from the same building but if there not trading anymore gm must if shut it down.. If vauxhall think I'm paying £50 for 5 ltrs of gm oil there very much mistaken lol..
I'll probably leave this oil in until after pvs and drop it out in a couple of weeks 🙂

Been on they website al deco and nothing mentions no longer trading. Could it be the your guy just cant get it anymore?

I can't find anything online about them not trading but I rang all the local motor shops yesterday and none of them stock it anymore.. Also there isn't many ebay listings for 10/40 anymore just 5/30 so somethings changed.. It's an American company so maybe it's just over here or something..
