Hi.
Since my current MID have bad pixels, I'm thinking can I upgrade it somehow? And if so, what compatibility issues could occur?

My current display in attachment. Zafira-A, 2002.

The screen and stereo are paired normally so anything you get make sure you get both.

I think some have to be tech2 reset like satnavs etc but im not 100% sure on that

I don't have original radio any more, lad. I was wondering about Board computer functions.
And any suggestions, which ones I can fit without changing anything else?

TID (triple info display) 3 lines date,time,rds are plug and play
MID (multi info display) 3 lines date, time ,rds,trip,fuel,stop watch are plug and play if you have MID
CID (color info display) completely useless unless you fit the ncdr1100 and have mid functions from the get go and needs to be paired to the main unit to work

My Zafira was a 51 plate with the standard cd/radio. If I disconnected the battery it required the radio code to unlock it. If your replacing just the screen I'm not sure if you would need anything else other than the screen. Worth having a look at the Zafira page on Facebook you'd probably get better advice there unless someone on here has done it.

Lol Carl beat me too it. I thought that might be the case.

Just a thought but whilst you have it apart it might be worthwhile changing out your dash bulbs for led's from Crazy Led's online. Being that you have to take the dash apart to fit a new MID. I did mine on my old Zafira and changed them to blue ones.

So, Carlos, basicly I just can fit MID with bigger LCD, without any problems? like this one:

yes if you have the 32pin plug in the dash if you dont then you would have to add the wires to get the mid functions working and change the wiper stalk to the one with buttons

Already have mid with some functions like consumption, range etc and wiper stalk with buttons.
