Internal diameter of main water hose

I need to know the internal diameter of the main water hose that goes to the radiator on the gearbox side. As I need to order a adjustable electronic fan controller.

Annoyingly I can't find my spare hose to check.

I can measure the rad iv got 1 in the garage.

not sure if they would be different in a vectra to a astra

I should imagine there all the same hoses, I have 38mm in my head but need to double check before I order

32mm is the size of the cylinder head outlet.

ps: I have a brand new 32mm Revotec controller (still in the box) you can have for £50 inc postage

I'm confused now o_O are you referring to the one coming from the thermostat to the rad? As that's the only hose I have space to add the coupler really.

If it is the hose I'm referring too then yep I'll take that mate as it was the Revotec one I was looking to buy (y)

I think it's the same size, but will have to check first 🙂

the thermostat housing hose connection is also 32mm (internal hose size) 🙂

So the one I have should be what you require (y)

Seems the Astra 2.2L bottom hose is not available (at least here in Aus but I don't see any in the UK Ebay either). I guess it's such a beast that other manufacturers are not interested .
Has anyone found a "simple" work around perhaps using other hoses?
