Z22yh stem seals

evening gents. Purchased a vectra estate xp with a failed timing chain .
So doing the usual rebuild. Whilst re doing the head would be silly not to do stem seal. Purchased a fia head gasket kit. When looking over the kit I noticed 4 of them are taller than the others. Any reason for this!??? I've done a few heads now, however never come across this before!.. Can anyone shed some light on why this is!? Thanks in advance Rob..

I cant see why 4 would be different. At most there should be 8 of each or 16 the same.

@[deleted] should be able to prove me wrong though if I am wrong.

Are you doing both chain kits?

And have you replaced the valve guides? You will need to replace atleast the guides on the bent valves.

Well that's what I thought .. I'll try upload a pic soon...
I'm replacing the head . I have a good replacement from stock.

Stem seals from a fia gasket set...
Sorry yes I'll be replacing the chains too..

the seals are all meant to be the same size the smaller one in your pic

That's what I thought. Never seen that before, and it was from a decent fia kit! Back to the shop tomorrow then! Thanks for your replays gents most helpful as always

I had a issue with fai but matt(who runs the site) n fai did a fantastic job of putting things right.

I think the kits are put together by hand so anyone can make a mistake.
