really depends on what power and revs you want from the engine.
Below 250 bhp then standard will be fine, however if you want to rev it to 7800rpm then you would need Eagle steel rods.
If you plan on going above 250 bhp then you will certainly need Eagle steel rods and forged pistons would be a worthwhile mod at the same time.
A rebore is about £80 - £100, so it would still be cheaper to use these pistons than buy some new standard bore forged pistons.
