Sounds like a very good rate, I'd rather not say how much I was charged in open forum but I gave him a little more than what he asked for as he was worth it. He explained exactly what he was doing at each step and why you did it. However, and it is an important however, whilst you tech maybe be very good at what he does (and I mean no offence) @[deleted] knows theses engines inside out and backwards. Book time is about 4 hours I believe and he did mine in six allowing for tea breaks, food and a chat about various bits. He's done them in less time but with mine there was no hurry, plus it's supposed to be a pain to drop the sump if the guide is breaking up which is important to make sure no debris is left behind. It's is something you can do yourself if you take your time and work logically and sensibly. I must admit I thought about doing mine myself but just had no where to do them off road. If you trust the tech and are happy then that is, as I said, a great price.
