5M1THY It will work yes as long as you use all the wiring and ecus from your car and just swap the bare engine it will be fine

5M1THY Yeah they will all be fine.. If your just simply changing the engine you shouldn't have any problems things like the coil pack alternator and injectors are standard across all 22se models
5M1THY The ecu is paired to the transponder around the ignition barrel and the chip in the key as long as all 3 of them are original you won't have any problems.. vectras use canbus so it is more complicated than an astra but changing the engine should be straight forward
Dave_Gilbert Oh right easiest solution to fix then. I would recommend doing the chains before fitting the engine. It would make fitting alot easier and quicker and gives piece of mind.

Have same engine it hac 188000 miles on it and runs great could you tell me where is engine number on the engine block as want to check if engine has been replaced

colin141 hi many thanks still cant see it try again tomorrow engine runs great doesnt burn oil plenty of power and for automatic triptronic gearbox is fab changes gears when it should can these engines last that long
