New tyres for the Signum.

Just had four new tyres put on the car. National Tyres doing a deal on Barum Bravuris 3HM tyres. All four fitted for 230 quid whereas they are normally 104 quid each. Must admit they make a difference to the Avon ZV5's that were fitted.

Yeah and they're a decent mid range tyre too. Some reviews (like many things) say that the Barum tyre is no good but to be honest I've never had a problem with them.I've had them on three different cars as well, the last one being my Zafira. Although I don't drive as fast as I used to when I was younger I still "play" occasionally and have surprised a few people in much sportier cars. Barum like many other tyre manufacturers had a bad name when they first came out but I think since they started a joint venture with Continental AG they've become much better. Once upon a time, Falken were considered a cheap budget tyre and now they're looked upon favourably. I appreciate that there are much better tyres around but as an all-rounder that I've used before I like them.

Looks like you got a good deal for a decent 'all round' tyre. (y) Should see you through for a few years.

When I renewed mine last time, Kwik-Fit were doing an offer for 4 Michelin Primacy HP's (was intending to just get the Primacy). They seem pretty good 'all round' too so can't complain really.
