samcoaker Right. My cars using coolant and the dipstick looks like its been dunked in a jar or mayonaise. So looks like headgasket issue to me 🙁 the thing is, i have been told the block is more likely to be damaged than the head? Is this the case and is there any way to tell? Cheers
evocarlos water pump at a guess the head gaskets are not known to go only other place to look is the #4 plug
samcoaker What am i looking for in the 4th plug? Water in the hole or something with the plug itself? Cheers
evocarlos yes sorry should of said the 4 plug hole cracks the alloy if the sparkplugs are over tightened so look for water in the hole
evocarlos depends if the head is cracked water would get into the oil i have the mayo on the dipstick i put it down to the water pump but ive not had time to change it yet
milo What brand of oil are u using? I had castrol in my vectra c sri cdti and i had an issue of mayo oil. I got it serviced with a flush and put vauxhall oil in and issue never came back
samcoaker  "whispers halfords" haha It had this issue when i bought it, serviced it twice in 3 months and each time its there. Its using coolant too :/
milo samcoaker said: This is full of oil :/ Common issue that bud when Carl took off my standard throttle body and intake pipe it was similar covered in oil
