Map and TMAP questions

Hi people,

with the OBD-tuner software you can use a TMAP sensor in your setup. Now I was thinking, why not replace the temp.sensor from the intake pipe into the intake manifold? How much boost can the OEM map sensor handle?

Any thoughts on that?

yes you can use the t-map with obd
you wire the stock temp prove to the probe of the t-map
you can get them in various bar ratings

Yeah I knew that. Just wondering if you could move the temp sensor from the intake to the manifold and have an alternative "T+MAP" idea.
But just found out that the OEM map will probably be blown out cause of the lack of a screw holding it in.

Now I have an uprated VXT intercooler with a TMAP hole allready in so I think I'm gonna stick the TMAP in there and be done with it:
