alexander Hi guys really need some advice. I have a 2001 vec z22se. Sri 150. I have just past 1 hundred thousand on the clock. The car has always used more oil than expected since i got it 40 thousand mile ago. but its recently a litre for every 300-400 miles. There is nothing showing in the water. There is no compression problems. There is no blue smoke on idle. There is however blue smoke pissing out the exhaust when the revvs go over 4 and a 1/2 thousand. Would you guys say that's piston rings or valve stem seals.. thanks in advance .
evocarlos it could be the 210hp 🙂 but as si said normally the oil rings stop working due to being blocked up the valve stem seals are the other point where oil gets in what grade of oil are you using ?
