Cool Dave, it's not like I waste money on anything much else these days. Don't smoke and only drink moderately (except over Christmas when I got bought loads of real ale, lol). So spending 50 quid every six months is not a lot really.

Well I recommend a K&N panel filter and airbox mod.

Then you can clean and refit the filter instead of replacing. If you plan on having it for a while anyway.

Is the air box mod the same as I've done to my Zafira, remove the two pipe sections from inside the air box, one from lid and one from main box? I plan on keeping it for some time if I can as I love the shape of the thing. Once I work out how to add a pic I will lol.

Yeah sorry Dave it is a Signum 2.2 Direct Elite with pretty much most of the toys. I went to the site that I found here where you can put the VIN number in and found out what it was specified with when built. Hope it works as this is a new type of forum to others I'm on.

Thanks for the welcome David. Interesting to note that your signature mentions the Z22SE engine and supercharging. Makes me wonder if the Z22YH engine is just as strong apart from the timing/balance chains issue.
