rain-x deep cleaning window kit

picked this up today to give it ago

in the box
clay,rain-x,and lube (gel)

gel went on easy enuff and help keep the clay moving

after wiping dry then applying 2 layers of rainx and buffing to a shine it all looks good will test it out on the other car in the meantime lol

used some dragons breath on the other cars window 1st then did the above will see how it goes 🙂

as soon as we have some rain i will let you know 🙂 the window was clear this morning when i came out at 5:30am

dont think i left it on long enuff thats the problem with working at a foundry lol

Yeah, my Dad used to work at a foundry, and the paint was rough as anything on his cars.

hate to think what the roof of the shogun is like :S would take a few bars of clay to get that off its not been properly washed in 8years lol
the reason the roof is so bad is there was a problem with the stack 2 weeks ago and they have had to run it without extraction and the lid up so all hot fallout has been dropping

i think the one application of rain-x is not enuff or the bottle supplied is diluted some the affects are not the same as the other car that had just neat rain0x on the screen
will add a 2nd coat and see how it fairs

the windows are cleaned easier with the wipers now tho

not got round to that 2nd coat but it definitely needs it lol
