O ring/Seals required for Water Pump removal/refit...

I'm about to replace the Water Pump in my 2006 Vectra 2.2 (Z22yh) with as much minimal disturbance as possible (should be fun).

Does anyone know, besides the 2 Water Pipe 'O' Rings, any other seal/gasket I would need? I'm unsure when I loosen the Water Pipe at the Thermostat side as to whether any seals will be disturbed and need replacing. Haynes only mentions the 2 'O' Rings. I've made sure I have plenty of RTV for emergency 🙂

Any parts needed should be supplied with new water pump. You should check with the parts supplier if there are any extras you need

Yep...the new pump comes with the timing housing seals and O Ring where the pipe enters the Water Pump housing but I'm unsure if there is anything at the Thermostat end of the engine, with the temperature sensor and heater matrix hoses, that may be disturbed, from the block, whilst manoeuvring the Water Pipe free. There's nothing supplied for that side with the Pump

If you remove the thermostat housing, there is a seal between that and the block.

This was my concern. Is it possible to not disturb the Thermostat housing and just coax the Water Pipe from the Water Pump housing? Thereby only needing to fit a new 'O' Ring to the Water Pipe when replacing it back into the Water Pump housing.

If not, the seal needed for the Thermostat housing, is that the 'O' Ring fitted around the Thermostat and would it be the same size as the Water Pipe O rings? Also is there a gasket where the heater matrix 'rectangle' opening meets the block?

As long as you are careful when dismantling then the seals can be re-used. Unless they have signs of serious wear

I was hoping this would be the case. I'll have to decide if it's worth reusing though. Don't want to fix one leak, only to make another. 🙂
