ebay the local supplier said they could get them from snr but 7-10day wait and £40

put the bearing on the berington for 10mins to heat up burnt me when i picked it up
when fitting i used a better fitting socket and a smaller wooden faced hammer

all done 🙂 again!

had a chain last week and got one this sat and work in the morning from which i will be knackered my only free day will be sunday and i plan to get the stereo working with the cd changer,,

I know the feeling, I had just three hours sleep from 06:15am Monday to 06:15am Wed. Ended up taking one of the daughters and a grandson to the hospital as he was having a bad asthma attack. Dropped her off around quarter to twelve Tues night and then picked her up at 1:45am Wed morning. By the time I got home and to sleep it was 3am gone. Still I suppose some comfort must come from the thought that it helps pay for the bits for yours mate.

where did you find the torque settings for the Diff bolts ?

or better still, what are the torque settings for the crownwheel and the diff housing bolts ?

i only found the info in the side casing i did the diff case bolts up FT
could you not get the torque wrench out and measure what it is to undo them ? or better still forget the diff and send it me 🙂

tbf you dont really need it in a fixed axle rwd you could sell it me and i could fit it before the box goes in 🙂

I have wanted one for so long, no idea why really, so it must be fitted. If I don't like the effect it gives then out it will come :LOL:

its convenient that the diff can be replaced in the car 🙂

its back in the car 🙂 with the new slave fitted

also put the 2 new front mount bolts in 🙂
