Matt_Prince Hi, Am i missing something or is the cam chain kit on here alot more expensive than some on ebay/internet? Also is anybody in the cheshire area that can do this and fancies doing it cheaper than a garage? Matt
evocarlos the cam chain kit on here are the right price for genuine gm and latest spec the kits on ebay could be old stock and sometimes not worth the risk don't know anyone in cheshire that does them

Dave_Gilbert Dont buy a cheap kit, if you can afford to get GM. That 20/30quid more is worth it. And make sure you do the balance chain and timing chain, it makes sence
flatbeat I got a gen gm cam chain kit with gasket and fai balancer lik all new for £210 from a seller on eBay you can buy them from the store on her I then drove down to Carl's place he then fitted it and did a top job Vauxhall want a grand to do the job As said do not buy cheap kits

Matt Only time you'll find a genuine kit on ebay for cheaper than we can supply them for is if it's old stock http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.X55570337&_nkw=55570337&_sacat=0 I worked bloody hard negotiating the price I can get them for with Vauxhall.
Matt Matt Prince said: Old stock would still be fine though wouldnt it? Depends how old it is. Vauxhall have changed the parts in the kit quite a few times over the years.
Sjdickso It would fit but not worth the risk as they have updated parts over the time on many revisions so best to put the latest kit in.
Matt_Prince Yeah i think i will fit the latest one. Cant see the point in saving hundred quid and it snapping and costing me lots more. Matt
