Op Com favour please

According to the Op Com unit I have, on both my car 2.2 Direct petrol Signum and on my brothers 2.2 Direct Vectra Sri it says the 2nd O2 sensor is inactive but shows a low voltage for it.

Neither car is showing MIL or Spanner lights

I'd be grateful if anyone else would check there z22yh with an Op Com and see what result they get back re the 2nd O2 sensor. Engine speed at idle and held at 3000 rpm please.

Well, head scratching moment now...

Took car for a drive with laptop running Op Com etc....
Rear O2 sensor is now active....

Did you just start the car or was it warm. Isn't it a case that its not used until the engine reaches the desired temperature.

My brother had just driven from work...aprrox 12 miles
My car was idling from cold.

Discovered that it becomes active when driven

Still trying to find why the car sometimes lacks pick up in 3rd gear and above??
No error codes at all and all fuel pressure & throttle signals/readings 100%

Either swirl flaps no opening properly or collapsed cat maybe?????

Does the car ever go into limp mode that resets when you restart the car?

Nope...no limp mode..no MIL lights
