richard Hi I know this isn't a z22se but hopefully someone can help I have a Astra h z18xer 1.8vvt did a service yesterday plugs filters etc now seems to be missing.fault codes are p001463 not sure what this is? And p030101 which I think is random missfire on cylinder one.I've checked all connections and all seems ok the only thing I did different to last time was set the plug gap was 0.8 but I read should be 1.30 so set it to that.will stick old plugs back in and see what happens but was wondering if anybody had any thoughts on it please thankyou

richard Just tryed putting old plugs back in which were working fine and still the same and same codes just disconnected the battery to see if that will clear codes.seems abit odd that I did service yesterday now its playing up.it did run ok yesterday.could be the coil pack I suppose?and just be a coincidence?
evocarlos iridium/platinum plugs are gapped from the factory sometime if you try and gap them the precious metal tip gets snapped off
richard Is it possible that by changing spark plug gap from 0.8 to 1.3 its killed the coil pack or is that not possible.also does anyone work at a Vauxhall dealer and can confirm the correct plug gap for my car??
Dave_Gilbert Well you have tried the plugs with no success so id go for the coil pack next. Any mates with vauxhalls just to borrow a coil pack for testing. or there on ebay for about 30 quid. Maybe try some contact cleaner in the coil plug(might help might not)
